Job summary

HyImpulse in Neuenstadt, Baden-Württemberg, invites hands-on engineers and technicians to manufacture components using manual techniques and vacuum processes, and to contribute to end-to-end development in a fast-growing New Space startup.

You will operate a filament winding machine, assemble and bond a range of parts, and participate in a diverse, collaborative team while enjoying ample vacation, team events, and personal development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in the composites / fibre-reinforced materials sector.
• Background in aircraft construction, model making, prototype manufacturing, or process mechanics.
• At least 1 year of professional experience.
• High level of commitment and strong team-working skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manufacture components using manual techniques, including model making, laminating, vacuum processes and filament winding.
• Contribute to various projects in the field of fibre-reinforced composites.
• Assemble and bond a wide range of components.
• Operate and monitor the filament winding machine.
• Perform maintenance and upkeep of the winding equipment.
