Your tasks

As a Component Owner, you take responsibility for the Wheelchair Securing and Lighting systems of the autonomous HOLON urban. You lead the development process from requirement analysis to series release, ensuring that technical, functional, and regulatory requirements are met across all interfaces.

  • Take responsibility for the Wheelchair Securing and Lighting systems of the autonomous HOLON urban
  • Analyze and review stakeholder requirements from customers, regulations, and standards, with a particular focus on the EU and US markets
  • Derive, define, and align component requirements with relevant stakeholders
  • Drive functional product development, including all related specifications from concept phase to series maturity
  • Ensure proper mechanical integration of components and compliance with all electrical requirements
  • Coordinate both internally and externally with the E/E and Safety teams to ensure electrical integration of the systems suitable for series production
  • Coordinate internal alignment with Package, Production Planning, Purchasing, and other interfaces
  • Drive selection decisions regarding material and manufacturing processes
  • Manage external development scopes and monitor their progress
  • Oversee project coordination, supplier management, scheduling, and cost control
Your profile
  • Engineering Degree in Product Development, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong technical understanding of mechanics, materials, and manufacturing processes
  • Experience as a Development or Project Engineer in the automotive or commercial vehicle industry is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, independent working style, and conceptual thinking ability
  • Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
