The firm is working with an agricultural brokerage looking to hire a commodity broker to join their international team.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Trading agricultural products on behalf of clients (including grains, corn, wheat, barley, rice and other soft commodities) in the following markets – Spanmed, Romanian, Ukrainian and Asian.
• Working with local and international partners, as well as building out a wider network.
• Monitoring international markets to ensure the best output can be achieved.
• Utilising business relationships to negotiate pricings, specifications and delivery details.
• Role reports to CEO.

Key Qualifications / Experience

• At least 3 years experience within the commodity trading world is a must.
• Direct involvement within agricultural commodities (including grains, corn, wheat, barley, rice) is necessary.
• Strong communication and personal skills are required, ideally being sociable and outgoing.
• Fluency in English is required, with Spanish being ideal and other languages being a benefit.
• Role can be based anywhere in Europe.
