As Commissioning Manager you will own the commissioning process from planning through testing, completion and handover, coordinating with project management, construction, QA/QC and client teams to ensure safe, compliant delivery and thorough handover documentation.

Qualifikationen

• Strong mechanical and pipework commissioning experience.

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to join a specialist subcontractor delivering a major hyperscale data centre project in Frankfurt.

This is a key site-based role, responsible for leading the commissioning of mechanical pipework and associated systems, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required project standards.

The Role

As Commissioning Manager, you will take ownership of the commissioning process from planning and preparation through to testing, completion and handover. You will work closely with the project management, construction, QA/QC and client teams to ensure all systems are fully commissioned and ready for operation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage the commissioning programme for mechanical pipework systems.
• Coordinate commissioning activities with construction, QA/QC, design and project teams.
• Develop and manage commissioning plans, schedules and test documentation.
• Oversee pressure testing, flushing, cleaning, functional testing and system verification.

About You

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical commissioning, ideally gained on large-scale data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or other mission-critical projects.

You should have:

• Proven experience as a Commissioning Manager / Commissioning Lead.
• Strong mechanical and pipework commissioning experience.
• Experience working for an MEP subcontractor or specialist contractor.
• Previous experience on hyperscale data centre projects is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of testing, commissioning and handover processes.
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder-management skills.
• The ability to manage multiple commissioning activities within a fast-paced construction environment.
• A strong understanding of H&S, QA/QC and project documentation requirements.
• The right to work in Germany / appropriate EU work authorisation.
