The Opportunity

In this role you will:

• Activelyparticipatein the tender/bid process--frominitialtender/bid documentation through analysis and reporting
• Manage the change managementprocess -identifying, analyzing, approving, and implementing changes that affect the project cost
• Analysetenders/bids to ensure client value for money
• Assistin the preparation and agreement of final accounts, including the handling of any claims to ensure the client gets best value from works undertaken
• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments
• Oversee project spend by creating valuations and cost reports, and clearly communicate variations to your team
• Support nimble project management and clear decisions through excellent cost documentation andtimelycommunication
• Support the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims with transparency
• Foster top performance and growth for your employees via excellent mentorship and leadership

• Have experience as aseniorcost manager, ideally from a consultancy background
• Have experience in pre-contract cost managementwhilebeingexperienced in budget control, cost planning,preparingandinitiatingchange forms for discussion with other project stakeholderswhilebeingknowledgeableonalternative construction materials
• Are chartered or are on the path tocompleteit. We can help
• Have a degree or comparable experience in a project management or construction discipline
• Are an excellent communicator verbally and inwriting
