Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Commercial Lead for data centre construction projects, working flexibly across UK/EMEA. You will lead all commercial activities, interface with clients and contractors, and manage change, claims and cost reporting to ensure project success.

The role requires extensive experience in large-scale construction, knowledge of NEC/FIDIC, and proven leadership of commercial teams across geographies. Hybrid working and client-site expectations apply.

Qualifications

• Extensive commercial management experience on large-scale data centre or similar projects.
• Strong understanding of NEC, FIDIC and other major forms of construction contracts.
• Proven experience managing change, variations, claims and dispute resolution on complex projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior client and contractor representatives.
• Strong commercial acumen, cost management expertise and experience leading commercial teams in fast-paced project environments.

As a Commercial Lead, you will:

• Lead all commercial and contractual activities across major data centre construction projects, ensuring successful project delivery and commercial performance.

We are looking for experience in the following skills:

• Extensive commercial management experience within large-scale construction projects, ideally hyperscale data centres or mission-critical environments.
• Strong understanding of NEC, FIDIC and other major forms of construction contracts.
• Proven experience managing change, variations, claims and dispute resolution on complex projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior client and contractor representatives.
• Strong commercial acumen, cost management expertise and experience leading commercial teams in fast-paced project environments.

• Experience supporting global hyperscale data centre programmes.
• Chartered status or working towards professional accreditation (MRICS, MCIOB or equivalent).
• Experience leading multinational project teams across multiple geographies.
