Zusammenfassung

STATWORX GmbH is seeking an experienced Solution Architect/Lead Cloud Developer in Frankfurt to design data and AI cloud solutions. You will translate client needs into technical concepts, guide project teams, and estimate cloud infrastructure costs as part of end-to-end delivery.

The role requires mastery of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), strong Python skills, IaC and secure, scalable solution design across environments. Proficiency in German and English (C1) is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Software Development/Engineering, IT, CS or similar.
• Experience as a solution architect or lead software/cloud developer with data, AI and ML.
• Design software and cloud solutions across environments for diverse use cases.
• Expert in at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS, GCP) with relevant certifications.
• Strong delivery skills with automation, IaC, and authentication frameworks.

Our AI Development department serves as a facilitator for Data & AI transformation. We are taking a holistic approach, from the initial evaluation of AI maturity, through the design and development of data and AI solutions, to the practical implementation and scaling of AI solutions. Through our deep expertise in Data Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, we ensure that our clients gain the maximum value from their data.

Your tasks

• You will design cloud and software solutions for data, AI and machine learning and be responsible for them in terms of functionality, maintainability, security, performance, reliability and costs
• You will translate the business needs and requirements of our customers into technical concepts, prepare project proposals and customer presentations and represent the technical side of our solutions
• You will guide our project teams from a technical perspective and lead the implementation of our solutions
• You will estimate the implementation efforts and cloud infrastructure costs for our client projects
• You will work closely with our data scientists/engineers and MLOps/DevOps engineers
• You will participate actively in various formats of internal knowledge exchange

Your profile

• You have a Master's degree, e.g. in the field of Software Development/Engineering, Information Technologies, Computer Science or similar
• You have work experience in a comparable position as a solution architect or lead software/cloud developer and experience with data, AI and machine learning
• You are experienced in designing software and cloud solutions in different environments and for a variety of use cases
• You are an expert for at least one cloud platform (Azure, GCP, AWS) and ideally have relevant certifications as a cloud solution architect (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, GCP Professional Cloud Architect)
• You are an expert in technical delivery and ideally also in automation, infrastructure as code and authentication frameworks like OAuth 2.0 and OIDC
• You have good programming skills in Python and are familiar with common large-scale engines like Kubernetes and Spark
• You are a strong communicator who can convey complex topics in an understandable, target group-oriented manner and communicate fluently in both German and English at at least C1 level
• You distinguish yourself through your reliability as well as a thorough and structured way of working
