Zusammenfassung

SOMI Solutions GmbH in Germany seeks a senior cloud software engineer to design, develop, and maintain cloud platform services and applications.

You will build scalable backends with Python/Go/Java, automate infrastructure with IaC, and develop CI/CD pipelines. You’ll work with Kubernetes, containers, and distributed systems to enhance scalability and reliability, in an Agile environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification.
• 3–5+ years of experience in software development within modern cloud environments.
• Strong programming skills in one or more of Python, Go, Java, Groovy, or C/C++.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized applications.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with fluent English (written and spoken).
• Nice to Have: Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms and virtualization technologies.
• Knowledge of Helm, Infrastructure-as-Code, and automated testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with networking concepts including DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, TLS/PKI, or BGP.
• Experience contributing to open-source software.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and cloud security best practices.
