Job Description

As a Client Engagement Manager / New Client Development Industrial Sales you will be responsible for supporting clients and channel partners ensuring exceptional customer experience and driving design initiatives and projects that contribute to business growth within your assigned region.

More details on the expectations and responsibilities in this position :

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and channel partners within an assigned region
  • Identify the key client stakeholders and coach them through Microchips solutions whilst supporting them within their organization
  • Develop compelling business cases to initiate contacts with prospects in early sales funnel stages
  • Apply creative strategies to attract new clients and solve complex challenges
  • Develop and execute regional strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Build strong partnerships with clients and channel partners by presenting Microchips unique business insights and cutting-edge technologies
  • Prepare and drive regular Channel Reviews and joint visits with our Channel Partners at clients to actively drive projects into revenue
  • Monitor industry trends and identify emerging opportunities to engage new clients

Requirements / Qualifications
Job Requirements
  • Solid understanding of the semiconductor Industry and its channel partner networks
  • Ability to create market specific analysis and mapping these to Microchip solutions
  • Building maintaining and synergizing partnerships with our distribution network
  • Understanding Microchips technological capabilities and resources with the ability to translate those into our clients business requirements
  • Ability to communicate with confidence into C-Level and Top Management contacts
  • Good understanding of embedded electronic system solutions and ability to engage with Research and Development teams
  • Ability to create market specific analysis and map these with Microchip solutions
  • Understanding Microchips technological capabilities and resources with the ability to translate those into our clients business and system requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively leverage artificial intelligence (AI) tools and platforms to enhance productivity decision-making and customer engagement
Qualifications And Experience
  • Masters / Bachelors degree in a business and / or engineering discipline with a strong academic track record
  • 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Business fluent language skills in German and English
  • Relevant market knowledge and industry experience
