Role Overview
Fidostra is seeking a Client Administrator to support the administration of asset-backed and mortgage-backed securities transactions.
The role combines transaction administration, document management, deadline monitoring, data review and regular communication with issuers, originators, servicers, account banks, calculation agents, paying agents, legal advisers and other transaction parties. You will help ensure that transaction records remain complete, required information is received and distributed accurately, and recurring processes are handled in accordance with the transaction documents and Fidostra's internal procedures.
This is an execution-focused position requiring strong organisation, numerical accuracy, attention to detail and consistent follow-through. The role operates within defined review, approval and escalation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the onboarding, establishment and ongoing administration of ABS and MBS transactions.
- Maintain accurate transaction records, contact details, document repositories, closing materials and internal case trackers.
- Review transaction documents and prepare concise summaries of relevant administrative provisions, reporting requirements, payment dates and operational responsibilities.
- Maintain transaction calendars covering reporting dates, payment dates, review periods and other recurring requirements.
- Coordinate the receipt, review and distribution of servicer reports, investor reports, compliance certificates, account statements, loan-pool information and other required documentation.
- Support the preparation and distribution of notices, reports, certificates and other transaction communications.
- Assist with the administration of interest, principal, fees, reserves and payment waterfalls in accordance with transaction documents and approved procedures.
- Review and reconcile transaction data, calculations and account information; identify missing or inconsistent items and elevate matters appropriately.
- Track portfolio-performance information, arrears, defaults, transaction triggers and other specified metrics.
- Support amendments, waivers, consents and other transaction events, including the collection and recording of responses where required.
- Support client onboarding, KYC reviews and conflict-management processes relating to new and existing mandates.
- Maintain complete document repositories, review records, decision logs and audit trails.
- Handle confidential, transaction-sensitive and personal information in accordance with applicable data-protection and information-security requirements.
Candidate Profile
- Typically one or more years of relevant experience in structured finance, securitisation, ABS or MBS administration, banking operations, corporate trust or transaction administration.
- Experience gained within a bank, corporate trust or agency provider, securitisation issuer, servicer, asset manager, law firm or other financial-services environment would be advantageous.
- An understanding of securitisation structures and the respective roles of issuers, originators, servicers, trustees, account banks, calculation agents and paying agents would be beneficial.
- Familiarity with transaction documents, prospectuses, investor reports, servicer reports and cash-flow waterfalls is advantageous.
- Strong numerical skills and the ability to review detailed transaction data and calculations accurately.
- Confident working with dates, figures, contractual provisions and recurring reporting requirements.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to maintain accurate and complete transaction records.
- Clear, confident and professional communication with clients and transaction parties.
- High degree of discretion when handling confidential and transaction-sensitive information.
- Professional fluency in German and English, both written and spoken, is required. Additional European language skills would be advantageous.
