You will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of a strategic data center project and lead a multidisciplinary team throughout the entire lifecycle, from initiation to handover.

Formación

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a comparable discipline.
• Extensive leadership experience on large, complex construction projects, ideally in data centers or high‑tech sectors.
• Proven track record delivering major projects (>€500 million).
• Several years in senior project leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in project, contract and risk management.
• Experience with international contract forms (FIDIC, NEC) is advantageous.
• Fluent German and English, written and spoken.

Would you like to play an active role in shaping Germany’s digital infrastructure and take responsibility for one of HOCHTIEF’s most strategic data center projects? Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of a major Data Center project and lead a multidisciplinary team throughout the entire project lifecycle – from project initiation through to client handover.

We are looking for you to join HOCHTIEF Infrastructure GmbH in Berlin as a Civil Engineer (m/f/d) as Project Director / Project Manager (m/f/d) Data Center

Your Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the successful delivery of a strategic large-scale data center project
• Lead and manage the entire project team throughout all project phases
• Ensure project delivery in accordance with schedule, budget, quality requirements, and the highest safety standards
• Take responsibility for the project's commercial performance, risk management, and contract management
• Oversee planning, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover activities
• Represent HOCHTIEF towards clients, authorities, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders
• Build and develop high-performing project teams while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence

Your Profile

• Successfully completed degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable discipline
• Extensive leadership experience in managing large and complex construction projects, ideally in the data center or high-tech sector
• Proven track record in delivering major projects with a value exceeding €500 million
• Several years of experience in senior project leadership positions
• Strong expertise in project management, contract management, and risk management
• Experience with international contract forms (e.g., FIDIC, NEC) is an advantage
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
