Dubai Chambers seeks a senior leader to represent our organization in the host market, driving strategy, government engagement, and strategic partnerships. You will act as the official face of Dubai Chambers, strengthening diplomatic ties and advancing our economic priorities.

The role requires 8–10 years in international relations or government affairs, with leadership experience and strong negotiation skills. Fluency in English and the local language is essential for success in this market.

To lead and represent Dubai Chambers in the host country by driving strategic engagement, strengthening governmental and business relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of Dubai’s international economic agenda. The Chief Representative oversees all aspects of the international office’s operations, provides market intelligence, and promotes Dubai as a global business hub. The role serves as Dubai Chamber’s diplomatic and strategic anchor in the host market, ensuring alignment with organizational transformation and global growth priorities.

Key Accountabilities:
1. Strategic Leadership & Market Representation
  • Lead the execution of Dubai Chambers’ international strategy within the host country, ensuring alignment with Dubai’s economic priorities and global competitiveness agenda.
  • Act as the official representative of Dubai Chambers, strengthening its presence, influence, and visibility in the local market.
2. Stakeholder Relations & Government Engagement
  • Build and maintain high‑level relationships with government entities, business associations, strategic partners, and key decision‑makers to advance Dubai’s economic diplomacy.
  • Position Dubai as a leading international business hub by promoting opportunities, initiatives, and sector developments.
3. Market Intelligence & Business Advisory
  • Oversee the identification, analysis, and reporting of market developments, opportunities, and risks, providing strategic insights to Dubai Chambers and relevant UAE stakeholders.
  • Support Dubai‑based companies exploring the host market and guide local businesses interested in expanding to Dubai.
4. Attraction & Expansion
  • Drive the promotion of Dubai as a leading global business destination by identifying and attracting high‑potential companies from the host country to establish or expand their presence in Dubai.
  • Support Dubai‑based businesses in exploring and expanding into the host country’s market through tailored guidance, strategic introductions, and facilitation of market‑entry activities.
  • Strengthen bilateral business flows by encouraging foreign investors to obtain new business licenses in Dubai and by enabling local Dubai companies to scale internationally.
  • Collaborate with relevant Dubai Chambers teams to ensure alignment with sector priorities, investment promotion objectives, and global expansion strategies.
5. International Office Leadership & Operations
  • Lead the office’s daily operations, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and alignment with organizational policies and performance standards.
  • Manage resource allocation, financial planning, and administrative processes to ensure efficient and effective office performance.
6. Business Promotion, Events & Advocacy
  • Oversee the planning and execution of promotional events, networking platforms, trade missions, and business facilitation programs.
  • Represent Dubai Chambers in public forums, delivering high‑quality presentations and speaking engagements that reinforce Dubai’s global positioning.
  • Ensure adherence to information security, safety, quality, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Drive continuous improvement of systems, procedures, and service delivery in line with international best practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in international business, Business Administration, Economics, Public Policy, or related field.
Experience & Skills Required
  • 8–10 years of experience in international relations, government affairs, economic development, or corporate diplomacy, preferably within the host market.
  • At least 4 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English + local language) with exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Established public speaking ability and strong business etiquette.
  • Deep understanding of political, economic, and business dynamics in the host country.
  • Ability to adapt to local cultural contexts and work effectively across diverse environments.
