About the Role

We are looking for a COO to own the operational engine of the business through our next stage of growth.

You will own the full patient journey, multi‑site operations and expansion, financial performance, and people infrastructure. You’ll build the systems and teams that allow us to grow without losing our flagship quality or high clinical standards.

Core areas of ownership:

• Operations & Patient Experience - end‑to‑end accountability for service delivery, clinic performance, and customer operations; building standardised processes and performance frameworks across locations. You’ll work closely with our Product team to build a digital experience that blends seamlessly with the physical practice experience.
• Finance & Unit Economics - budgeting, forecasting, margin management, and KPI ownership. You’ll own financial discipline and internal reporting structures that support strategic decision‑making when looking at our expansion. You have an excellent finance director at your side to support you.
• Expansion - overall ownership of new clinic rollouts including real‑estate sourcing, site selection, launch execution, and developing scalable playbooks for new markets.
• People & Organisation - building hiring frameworks, performance management systems, and organisational structures suited to a growing multi‑location business; fostering a culture of ownership and accountability.

What We’re Looking For

• Multiple years of experience in operations leadership within high‑growth startups or operationally complex, multi‑site businesses – ideally in premium, experience‑driven sectors where the quality of the environment and the quality of the service are inseparable
• Proven ability to join the dots between digital and physical – from how patients discover and book, through to how they feel in the room and how they’re followed up afterwards
• Strong financial and analytical grounding – you work from data, build rigorous internal reporting, and have owned budgets, forecasts, and unit economics through periods of real growth
• Experience scaling service businesses: consumer health, healthcare services, retail, hospitality, or similar sectors where operational excellence directly enables the customer experience
• Entrepreneurial by nature – this is a founding team role. You are as comfortable setting direction as you are in the detail, and you’ll move across all parts of the business as it demands.
• Ambitious about expansion, but grounded in what makes it work: you understand that the licence to grow comes from getting the experience right first, and you use customer feedback and operational data to drive that discipline
• A builder – you create systems and structures that outlast your direct involvement and develop teams that perform without dependency on you
• Fluent in German and English; based in or willing to relocate to Berlin
