Job Summary

Join our team as Chief Operations Officer (COO) at MosaeQ, a pioneering deep-tech company revolutionizing quantum computing. As the operational architect behind our visionary founder, you will transform breakthrough quantum technology into world-class execution, overseeing everything from our Berlin lab build-out to go-to-market success in powerful new euro markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead execution of the company’s strategic roadmap, translating vision into actionable quarterly and annual operational plans.
• Oversee project management and timely, budget-conscious build-out of MosaeQ’s quantum laboratory in Berlin.
• Recruit, onboard, and manage our initial engineering and data science teams, shaping a high-performance, mission-driven culture.
• Drive commercialization, managing our GTM partnership and securing first B2B pilot projects.
• Establish and refine core operational processes, systems, and KPIs to enable rapid organizational scale.
• Serve as the key interface between technical, commercial, and administrative functions, ensuring seamless cross-functional execution.
• Champion operational excellence and pragmatic problem-solving, adapting to the evolving needs of a deep-tech, venture-backed startup.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Extensive experience as COO, VP Operations, or General Manager in a deep-tech or advanced B2B SaaS setting.
• Proven track record of scaling startups from Seed/Series A through significant growth phases.
• Strong operational strategy and technical project management expertise—comfortable overseeing hardware, software, and laboratory environments.
• Demonstrated success in deep tech commercialization and bringing products from prototype (TRL 5/6-8) to commercial revenues.
• Exceptional team-building and talent acquisition skills, able to attract and develop top-tier technical and commercial talent.
• Strategic mindset with hands-on leadership, fostering operational excellence and a results-focused culture.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a founder’s complement mentality and high adaptability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with aerospace/space technologies and hardware operations.
• Experience with SaaS/PaaS business models and B2B enterprise sales in venture-backed environments.
• Background in building and scaling R&D labs or high-tech facilities.
