Jobtailor in Berlin is seeking a proactive operations-driven professional to support VC fund activities, investor communications, and strategic initiatives. You will partner with Partners to shape investment theses, manage LP relationships, and coordinate quarterly reporting and fundraising activities.

You will drive process improvements, implement AI-enabled workflows, and ensure rigorous, high-quality documentation across decks, updates, and data rooms.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years in VC, startups, strategy consulting, or similar fast-paced roles.
• Strong understanding of innovation, entrepreneurship, and venture dynamics.
• Exacting standards for written work, LP updates, AGM materials, and internal docs.
• Familiarity with fund operations, LP reporting cycles, DDQs, and investment commitees.
• Genuine curiosity about AI in a fund context and willingness to drive adoption.

Aufgaben

• Work closely with Partners on strategy, investment thesis development, and fund-level initiatives
• Serve as a trusted sparring partner on high-priority tasks and special projects
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with LPs and network members
• Support investor updates, quarterly reporting, fundraising processes, meeting preparation, and on-site DDs
• Own the quality of LP-facing materials, including quarterly updates, AGM decks, DDQ responses, and data-room documents
• Identify and implement improvements across internal processes and fund infrastructure
• Drive cross-functional communication and alignment across the team
• Drive high-leverage projects across operations, portfolio, and ecosystem initiatives
• Prepare and debrief key meetings, including research, materials, and action-item follow-through
• Plan and execute LP events, founder retreats, strategy off-sites, ecosystem gatherings, and thematic initiatives
• Identify opportunities for AI leverage across the organization and partner with the Data Engineer to embed AI into workflows and decision-making
• Help the team adopt new tools, workflows, and ways of working

Requirements

• Understanding of VC fund operations, including fund mechanics, LP reporting cycles, quarterly LP meetings, DDQs, and investment committee processes, or ability to get up to speed quickly
