We are currently seeking a talented Change Manager Consultant on behalf of a major international organization.
Mode of working: remote within European Union
Work to be performed:
- Organise and facilitate change management deliverables to keep project stakeholders informed and engaged on the programme’s progress.
- Implement the engagement and communications plans to “keep the momentum” by designing engaging and interactive meetings, writing/editing website content and newsletters, creating short videos, and other engagements.
- Create standard change management plans and campaigns, including Change Readiness, Training Needs Analysis, Status Reports, Presentations, Change Impact, Resistance Management mitigation.
- Conduct workshops to align project teams on stakeholder benefits, identify lessons learned, or to better engage stakeholders to move the work forward.
- Support the champions network in disseminating information and monitor adoption stats to make improvements and/or provide coaching.
- Collaborate with the corporate communicationsteam to ensure compliance with branding rules, coordinate the posting of stories, and align the scheduling of communication messages.
- Adhere to and promote the use of PMO framework. Collaborate with Change Management Officer(s) to edit materials, brainstorm ideas, and coordinate deliverables.
- Depending on the project, may develop training material and user guides.
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- Proven ability to coordinate, manage, and lead successful changes in projects across geographical locations.
- Proven skills in the areas of change management, facilitation, building trust, planning, organizing, and communications with attention to detail and monitoring progress.
- Ability for strategic thinking and re‑engineering current processes, with the ability to quickly comprehend and formulate comprehensive plans to address challenges/risks.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with teams in an international, multi‑cultural, multi‑disciplinary environment; separated by geographical locations and working under different time‑zones.
- High ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem‑solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
- Proactive, flexible, resourceful and able to work independently with limited supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, advocate, motivate, resolve conflict, and adapt relevant leadership styles to a variety of situations.
- Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint…).
Education Qualifications:
Essential
- First‑level university degree in Communication, English, Marketing, Psychology, or any other field relevant to communication. Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) and/or Prosci. Change Management, and/or Certification (ADKAR Model).
Desirable
- Certificate in Digital Business or Social Media Marketing. Certificate in graphic design, and other communications/design tools.
Experience:
Essential
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience as a change manager in a successful programme/project delivery across complex cross‑functional or interdependent projects, some of which should be at the global level.
- Demonstrated experience in applying a structured methodology and leading change management activities with proven experience in driving faster adoption and higher utilisation of the changes that impact stakeholders.
- Demonstrated professional experience working with senior‑level or executive‑level management. Proven experience in managing anticipated resistance to change.
- Proven experience in writing business plans and project‑related documentation.
Desirable
- Relevant experience working for a large multinational company or IO/UN agency in complex technical programmes or projects. Public Health Surveillance a plus.
- Relevant experience in the areas of strategy, programme and project delivery, change and transition management.
- Relevant experience in campaign planning, advocacy building, design and/or video.
- Experience in working across multiple time zones without the need for face‑to‑face meetings.
Language Skills:
- Expert knowledge in spoken and written English.
- Basic knowledge in French is desirable, but not mandatory.
