AIRBUS HELICOPTERS DEUTSCHLAND GmbH is seeking a Certifying Staff (m/f/d) for CAT B2 on Airbus helicopters in Germany. The role covers electrical/avionics certification, inspection and release for flight, with travel as needed across product lines.

Qualified applicants will hold EASA Part-66 CAT B2 or be in progress, with a Master craftsman/tech degree preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience; company benefits include pension schemes and flexible work arrangements.

Qualifikationen

  • German language fluency and good English essential.
  • Master craftsman, technician or technical degree (Bachelor) preferred.
  • EASA Part-66 CAT B2 license required or in progress.
  • DEMAR 66 CAT B2 license desirable.

Aufgaben

  • Identify malfunctions and describe damage patterns in aircraft systems.
  • Carry out inspection measures and troubleshooting and approve helicopters.
  • Supervise installation, functional, interim, and final tests during maintenance.
  • Support in release of aircraft for ground run or flight.
  • Coordinate with helicopter crew and CAMO on measures.
  • Ensure compliance with operational and safety requirements.

What your tasks are:
  • Identifying malfunctions and describing damage patterns, as well as determining, recording, and labeling complaints about general aircraft technology and MRO processes

  • Carrying out inspection measures and troubleshooting, including approval of the helicopters

  • Supervision of installation, functional, interim, and final tests during scaffolding, repairs, and maintenance

  • Completion of work processes and support in the release of aircraft for ground running or flight

  • Coordination/debriefings of measures with the helicopter crew

  • Coordination of measures with the responsible CAMO

  • Ensuring all necessary operational and safety requirements are met

What you bring to the team:
  • Completed vocational training in aircraft electric or similar

  • Additional qualification: Master craftsman, technician or technical degree (Bachelor)

  • EASA Part-66 CAT B2 license (or in progress)

  • DEMAR 66 CAT B2 license desirable

  • Experience in aviation assembly, inspection, and maintenance

  • Type rating on Airbus helicopters desirable

  • Team spirit and resilience

  • Business fluent German and good English skills

  • Willingness to travel national and international (depending on the product type - maximum a few times a year)
