Sentara RMH Medical Center is currently hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for day shift. The CMA performs patient care and clerical tasks, under supervision of the physician or nurse staff. A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is available for qualified candidates.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and Less than 1 year of related experience; phlebotomy experience is highly preferred. Must obtain CMA/RMA/CCMA/EMT-B on first day and BLS within 90 days.

The CERTIFIED Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Must have one of the following on the first day of employment:
