as reinforcement for our team in Bonn or flexible in Europe.

What you can expect from us:
  • Independent implementation of complex international purchasing measures in one or more purchasing segments of the Packaging / Print & Office Supplies & Corporate Wear department
  • Proactively identify areas for strategic sourcing initiatives
  • Providing professional procurement support for key business initiatives, providing market research and intelligence to support business decisions regarding investments and budgets, and drafting contracts
  • Integration of procurement services for colleagues in the departments and functions (all departments are affected)
  • Achieving the greatest possible value contribution, value realization and efficiency of all procurement activities and ensuring satisfaction by meeting/exceeding requirements in terms of quality, price and service
  • Analysis and observation of the relevant procurement and supplier markets (national and international) on the basis of many years of experience
  • Conducting procurement competitions and tenders
  • Preparation and implementation of complex negotiations in an international environment, negotiation of savings, management of regular RfIs and RfQs
  • Independent development and implementation of concepts and target processes for purchasing in the transferred purchasing segment(s)
  • Exploitation of cost reduction potential, e.g. through value analysis
  • Active business partner management up to and including management level 4 and ensuring purchasing compliance
  • Drafting contracts together with the legal department
  • Ensuring compliance with purchasing regulations
  • Active project work or active project management (based on own projects)
  • Supporting VP Global Category Manager Packaging and Print in developing a global strategy
  • Support the regional or global teams according to requirements

  • Completed university or technical college degree and many years of relevant professional experience
  • Convincing, self-confident and credible appearance in dealing with business partners and suppliers as well as a pronounced customer and service orientation
  • Very strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Very good negotiation skills
  • Quick comprehension and ability to learn
  • Fluency in English (level C1) as well as good German language skills or the willingness to acquire them
