Job summary

Public Address seeks a skilled carpenter, joiner or mechanic to prepare exhibition stands in our Hochheim am Main (Germany) warehouse and install them at trade fairs across Germany and internationally. You will handle packing, maintenance and restocking, and coordinate with the project management team for timely deployments.

Travel is required; a vocational qualification and a driving licence are expected, and basic English helps.

Qualifications

• Vocational training in carpentry, joinery or mechanics.
• Experience in the exhibition industry is an advantage.
• Basic PC skills are a plus.
• Valid Class B driving licence; Class C is a plus.
• Willingness to travel and work at trade fairs internationally.
• Good English skills.

Job description

Are you a carpenter, joiner or mechanic who doesn't want to spend every day in the same workshop? With us, you prepare exhibition stands in the warehouse and install them at trade fairs in Germany and abroad.

For over 30 years, Public Address has delivered exhibition stands, brand spaces and exhibitions for national and international clients, around 200 stands a year in Germany and 60 in Austria. Your place of work is Hochheim am Main (Germany) or Hagenbrunn near Vienna (Austria).

Your Responsibilities

• Perform general warehouse duties.
• Exhibition preparation: packing, maintenance and restocking.
• Oversee the loading and shipment of exhibition stand components.
• Install and dismantle exhibition stands and roadshows across Germany and internationally, working closely with our project management team.

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training, e.g. as a carpenter, joiner, mechanic or in a comparable skilled trade.
• Experience in the exhibition industry is an advantage.
• Basic PC skills are an advantage.
• Valid Class B driving licence; Class C truck licence is a plus.
• Willingness to travel.
• Good English skills.
• Team player, able to work under pressure, with good organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
