Texas Instruments in Germany is seeking a Buyer to join its Career Accelerator Program (CAP), a training track designed to accelerate ramp-up with professional and technical development from day one.

As a part of the CAP, you will support category management, coordinate purchasing with manufacturing, engineering and planning teams, and gain hands-on experience across supplier management, cost analysis and contract oversight.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English and German.
• Excellent time management for on-time project delivery.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate across functions, countries and cultures.

Aufgaben

• Address all aspects of category management, including supplier management and market trends.
• Coordinate purchasing with manufacturing, business units, planning and engineering to acquire inventory and services.
• Process purchase requisitions, change orders and RFQs to suppliers.
• Perform cost analysis and volume planning for major categories.
• Monitor the cost, schedule and scope of assigned contracts to negotiate best value.
• Develop new supply sources where suppliers are no longer competitive or de-risking the supply chain is needed.
• Interact closely with suppliers and internal teams.
• Support internal and external audits related to procurement processes.

As a buyer, help power a stronger supply chain:

• Address all aspects of category management, including supplier management, support category business plans, market trends assessment, pricing, and product availability
• Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing, business units, planning and engineering departments to acquire inventory and services in a cost effective and timely manner
• Process purchase requisitions, purchase change orders and requests for quotes to suppliers
• Perform cost analysis and volume planning for major categories
• Monitor the cost, schedule and scope of assigned contracts to negotiate the highest quality at best value
• Develop new supply sources where suppliers are no longer competitive or de-risking supply chain is needed
• Recommend cost saving proposals including make-versus-buy analysis or alternative sourcing
• Interact closely with suppliers and internal teams
• Support internal and external audits related to procurement processes and supplier management

Qualifications
