We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated sales professional with a strong background in the carbon capture or related industrial sectors. The ideal candidate is someone who still has the drive and energy to build a market from the ground up: establishing new customer relationships, developing strategic partnerships, and positioning our company as a key player in the European carbon capture space. Responsibilities
  • Drive the activities to become an approved vendor by relevant carbon capture licensors, with the support of the engineering team and the sales excellence function (technical presentations, audits, technical support, potential testing campaigns)
  • Establish channels at EPC active on carbon capture projects and maintain a short list of leads for carbon capture projects in Europe
  • Drive quoting activities on all carbon capture RFQs in Europe with support from the engineering teams
  • Feedback to the sales excellence function on go to market strategy to ensure Munters relevance in the carbon capture space (which subsegments to target, pricing relevance, positioning, gaps to foster growth, strategic partnerships, etc.)
  • Budget responsibility regarding planning and compliance based on measurable KPIs
  • Development and establishment of sustainable business relationships at all levels with selected customers
  • Analysis of customer needs and trends through market data and customer interaction
  • Extensive international travels, mostly EU
Profile
  • Technical degree in the field of process engineering / chemical engineering or equivalent
  • Relevant Sales experience in process industries, in the carbon capture sector would be an advantage
  • Technical knowledge in the areas of mass transfer, pressure vessels, and mist elimination
  • Extensive commercial understanding as well as strategic and structured approach
  • Communication and negotiating skills
