About the Role

CODE is looking for a Campus Manager (f/m/x) to join our team in the heart of Berlin.

In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring a welcoming, efficient, and inspiring campus environment by overseeing daily campus operations, improving facilities and event technology, and coordinating campus services in close collaboration with the IT, events and campus team. This role combines conceptual planning with hands‑on contribution.

As a Campus Manager (f/m/x) we’re looking for someone who is able to take on the following responsibilities:

Reception and Front Desk
  • Welcome and assist visitors, students, and staff with professionalism and warmth.
  • Manage visitor check‑ins, access cards, and keys.
  • Answer calls, emails, and in‑person inquiries.
  • Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Support with small administrative tasks (printing, envelopes, etc.).
Campus operations and facilities
  • Oversee the smooth functioning of all campus facilities and shared spaces.
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and facility improvements with vendors and building management.
  • Manage campus inventory, furniture assets, and supplies to ensure availability and organization.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance through regular checks, documentation, and communication.
  • Plan and execute larger campus projects (e.g. renovations, reorganizations, new setups).
Campus technology infrastructure
  • Work closely with the IT Systems Administrator to plan improvements to the campus tech setup (including AV systems, hybrid teaching rooms, and event equipment).
  • Ensure a sustainable and user‑friendly tech environment across classrooms, meeting spaces, and events.
  • Collaborate on the rollout of new hardware or systems and oversee the quality and usability of installations.
  • Provide feedback and coordination support for IT processes and inventory management.
Infrastructure and logistical support for events
  • Collaborate with the Event Manager to ensure all events have the necessary technical and logistical infrastructure.
  • Take ownership of improving the long‑term event tech setup to enable seamless hybrid and on‑site experiences.
  • Coordinate facilities and technology readiness before and after events.
Health and Safety
  • Plan, implement and monitor health and safety regulations, audits, and emergency plans.
  • Maintain and update relevant documentation, reports, and risk assessments.

To be successful in this, we’re looking for someone with the following skillset:

  • Solid experience (5+ years) in campus or office operations, hospitality, or facilities management.
  • Experience planning and implementing office technological infrastructure and AV hardware.
  • Experience coordinating and negotiating with vendors and external teams.
  • Proactive, structured, and hands‑on approach - comfortable combining planning with daily operational tasks.
  • Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German.

If, beyond this, you bring along any of the following, it would give our team an edge. Keep in mind that none of these points are requirements, though:

  • Experience in higher education or co‑working environments.
  • Leadership and/or project management experience.
  • Basic technical knowledge (macOS, Windows, Wi‑Fi troubleshooting).
  • Understanding of health & safety standards.

We fully appreciate that the boundaries of your knowledge are where you start to grow, so don’t be discouraged if you don’t bring everything we need today. We want to create our future together.

For every position at CODE, we need you to meet the following requirements:

  • Having a German bank account to be able to get paid
  • The right to work and primary residence in Germany

What you can expect:

  • Permanent contract for long‑term stability
  • Part‑time position (32 hours per week)
  • Competitive base salary: EUR 33,600 gross yearly salary (part‑time 80%)
  • Campus located in lively Neukölln - work in one of Berlin’s most dynamic neighborhoods
  • Responsible role in a motivated and supportive team
  • Personal development opportunities and ongoing training
  • 25 days of annual leave (20 statutory + 5 extra from us), with the option to buy up to 5 more each year
  • Retirement & pension plans to help you plan for the future
  • BVG ticket benefit: 5% discount plus an additional €15 monthly contribution from CODE
  • Access to Masterplan learning platform for professional growth
  • Summer and winter employee events for team bonding and fun
  • 10 sessions per year with Nilo.Health for your mental wellbeing
