Job summary

ALTEN is actively seeking a software engineer to develop and maintain high-quality C++ applications within a sophisticated simulation environment. You will design and execute unit, integration, and API tests to ensure reliability, and you will integrate software components into existing simulation frameworks, including the Si2 Framework.

The role emphasizes automation of development, testing, and deployment through CI/CD pipelines, and ongoing improvement of simulation platforms.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience in modern C++ within simulation environments.
• Proven experience with unit, integration, and API testing frameworks.
• Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with automation and DevOps tools such as Docker and Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality C++ applications within a complex simulation environment.
• Design, implement, and run unit, integration, and API tests for reliability.

Qualifications

• You hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• You have strong hands-on experience in modern C++ software development within simulation environments
• You have proven experience with unit testing, integration testing, and API testing frameworks.
• You have practical experience with Git-based development workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• You have experience with automation and DevOps tools such as Docker and Ansible.
