A pioneering robotics company in Munich is searching for a C++ Engineer to own the testing pipeline and develop diagnostic tools for their robot software stack. The role requires collaboration with autonomy and operations teams to ensure robust monitoring and debugging of robot behavior. Ideal candidates will have experience in testing infrastructure and familiarity with robotics. Join us to revolutionize the logistics industry through autonomous solutions.
Our robots rely on a sophisticated software stack that must be robust, reliable, and ready to perform in real-world environments. Today, while our core autonomy systems are advancing rapidly, we face a critical challenge: ensuring that every change to our codebase can be tested, debugged, and monitored seamlessly — from development to production.
The mission ahead is to build the testing infrastructure, diagnostic tools, and performance monitoring systems that guarantee our robot stack always works as intended, without regressions. This includes creating tools used not only in development but also in live operations to monitor robot health. Solving this challenge means empowering the autonomy and operations teams to move faster, with confidence, and with fewer disruptions in the field.
As a C++ Engineer at Filics, you will be part of the Software Engineering Team, working closely with our Autonomy and Operations Teams — your direct “customers.” You will own the testing pipeline and the inspection tools that help us validate, monitor, and debug the entire robot stack.
Your work will sit at the crossroads of platform, algorithms, and operations, serving multiple teams with different requirements. By building reliable test infrastructure, data inspection tools, and performance diagnostics, you will play a pivotal role in enabling safe, efficient, and scalable autonomy.
Your Responsibilities:
Filics is pioneering the future of swarm robotics in the logistics industry. Using pairs of collaborative autonomous mobile robots, we turn transporting thousands of pallets through a packed warehouse into a logic puzzle. Our vision extends to the autonomous loading of trucks with unparalleled efficiency. By operating in perfect synchronization, these robots manage to load all pallets simultaneously, streamlining the process and drastically reducing loading times.
At Filics, we go beyond mere automation to develop intelligent, self-governing systems that revolutionize the logistics industry. Our vision casts mobile robotics as virtuosos in a logistical orchestra, each movement finely tuned for peak efficiency and harmony. With a focus on autonomy, our robots are designed to think, adapt, and collaborate effortlessly. This fusion of precision and autonomy redefines warehouse operations, marking our commitment to leading with innovative, self-directed solutions.
At Filics, it's not about simply showing up for work; it's about embracing autonomy, personal growth, and purpose. Our culture thrives on nurturing passions, celebrating achievements, and recognizing exceptional performance. Be a part of the Filics revolution and leave a lasting footprint in the world of intralogistics.
