Buying Labs GmbH in Hamburg is seeking a Buying & Sales Assistant - Beauty to join our office in the heart of Hamburg. You will support Senior Buyers and Sales Managers with a defined portfolio of premium brands and work with international clients and suppliers.

You will prepare offers and purchase orders, handle client offers and orders, and coordinate communications with national and international partners. The role involves reporting, market analysis, and potential project ownership.

Qualifications

• Degree or relevant vocational training in textile studies, business administration, or related field.
• Initial experience in buying or sales, ideally in beauty and/or fashion.
• Fluency in English and German in a professional environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including HLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Buyers and Senior Sales Managers with a defined portfolio of premium brands.
• Prepare supplier offers, purchase orders, and handle client offers and orders.
• Coordinate with national and international clients and suppliers.
• Confirm order quantities, track budgets, and review order data.
• Prepare reports, analyze market and pricing potential, and manage projects.
• Identify process improvements and contribute creative solutions.

Your Mission

• You will support our Senior Buyers and Senior Sales Managers in managing a defined portfolio of premium and luxury brands while working closely with international clients and suppliers.
• On the buying side, you will prepare and manage supplier offers and purchase orders. On the sales side, you will handle client offers, orders, and related services.
• You will support communication and coordination with national and international clients and suppliers.
• You will ensure the confirmation of order quantities, track the corresponding budgets, and review relevant order data.
• You will prepare and maintain reports, analyze market and pricing potential, and have the opportunity to manage your own projects.
• You will identify opportunities to improve existing processes, develop creative solutions, and actively contribute your ideas.

Your Profile

• You have successfully completed a degree in textile studies, business administration, or a related field, or have completed relevant vocational training.
• You have gained initial professional experience in buying or sales, ideally within the beauty and/or fashion industry.
• You are passionate about beauty, sales, and buying.
• You are proactive, open-minded, and a true team player.
• You work conscientiously and demonstrate a high level of reliability and attention to detail.
• You stand out through your enthusiasm, strong presentation skills, and excellent numerical understanding.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office, and functions such as HLOOKUP are familiar to you.
• Fluency in both English and German in a professional environment completes your profile.
