Job summary

Constellr GmbH in Munich is seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage constellr’s general procurement needs, from office supplies to service contracts, ensuring smooth operations and cost efficiency.

As part of a fast‑growing, international team, you will develop sourcing strategies, oversee supplier relationships, negotiate terms, monitor spend, and align procurement with finance, legal, and operations to drive value across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Strong organisational and negotiation skills.
• Comfort managing multiple vendor relationships simultaneously.
• Fluent in German and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with business objectives and cost goals.
• Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle: supplier sourcing, onboarding, contract negotiation, and performance management.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive value and service excellence.
• Lead commercial negotiations to secure favorable pricing, terms, and risk mitigation while ensuring compliance.
• Monitor supplier performance, market trends, and procurement risks; implement improvements as needed.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical sourcing standards.
• Analyze spend data and identify cost-saving opportunities; report on procurement performance and metrics.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, operations, and business leaders to support strategic initiatives.

Your Role

You’ll handle constellr’s general procurement needs - from office supplies to service contracts - keeping the business running smoothly and cost-effectively

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with business objectives, optimize costs, and ensure the timely sourcing of goods and services.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including supplier sourcing, evaluation, onboarding, contract negotiation, and performance management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and key internal stakeholders to drive value, innovation, and service excellence.
• Lead commercial negotiations to secure favorable pricing, terms, and risk mitigation measures while ensuring contractual compliance.
• Monitor supplier performance, market trends, and procurement risks, implementing improvement initiatives where required.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical sourcing standards.
• Analyze spend data, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and provide regular reporting on procurement performance, supplier metrics, and business outcomes.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with finance, legal, operations, and business leaders to support strategic initiatives and continuous process improvement.

Job requirements

About you

Required:

• Experience in procurement or purchasing
• Strong organisational and negotiation skills
• Comfort managing multiple vendor relationships simultaneously
• Fluent in German and English

Nice to Have_:_

• Experience with procurement/ERP systems
• Experience in a scaling company with growing purchasing needs
• Professional procurement certification such as CIPS, CPSM, or MCIPS
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies and category management
