Business Process Owner – Order Process

This role sits within ABB’s Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We are entering an exciting new chapter as we’ve announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Own and define the global Order Management process within the Q2O framework, ensuring governance, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Design end‑to‑end workflows that optimize order capture, validation, orchestration, and fulfillment, including complex cases like DTO and RFCs.
  • Collaborate with ERP and orchestration teams to align SAP S/4HANA and digital tools with business and process needs.
  • Translate business requirements into system capabilities, validating enhancements through testing, rollout, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive global adoption and capability building through training, playbooks, expert communities, and data‑driven innovation.
Qualifications for the Role
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, engineering, or related fields, with training in ERP, Lean/Six Sigma, or process excellence.
  • Proven experience in order management, order‑to‑cash, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong ERP expertise, preferably SAP S/4HANA, and familiarity with order orchestration and distributed production.
  • Hands‑on experience with complex orders, including Design‑to‑Order (DTO) and Requests for Change (RFCs).
  • Demonstrated success in global process design and system implementation within multinational environments.
  • Skilled in translating business needs into system requirements and digital solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and training capabilities across functions.
  • Analytical, data‑driven, and forward‑looking, with passion for digitalization and AI in order orchestration.
