The Opportunity

We are searching for an Business Process Expert SAP SD to join an established Business Solutions function and lead international, high-impact technology initiatives.

This is an in-house position offering a strong combination of SAP ownership, project leadership and business engagement. You will operate between the business, internal IT teams and external implementation partners—helping to shape scalable SAP solutions across a complex international organisation.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead international SAP and business technology projects using structured project delivery methodologies.
• Drive the continued adoption, development and optimisation of SAP SD solutions.
• Coordinate external system integrators responsible for configuration, maintenance, upgrades and technical support.
• Own the demand-management lifecycle—from capturing and challenging requirements through approval, design and delivery.
• Translate commercial requirements into scalable, high-quality SAP solutions.
• Act as the key interface between business stakeholders, technical teams and external delivery partners.
• Support the harmonisation of business processes and SAP solutions across multiple countries.
• Identify connections between projects and functions to create greater efficiency and avoid duplicated solutions.
• Lead change activities associated with projects that have a significant organisational impact.
• Support, improve and modernise business applications while advising stakeholders on suitable technologies.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of global SAP templates and standardised processes.

Your Background

• At least two years of professional experience within SAP, IT project management, business applications or a comparable technology role.
• Practical experience working with SAP SD.
• Experience within a complex, international or multi-entity organisation.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills and the confidence to challenge business requirements constructively.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear technical and functional solutions.
• A service-focused and collaborative approach.
• Business-fluent English and advanced German language skills.
• Experience as an SAP Template Responsible or Scenario Owner would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of project or change methodologies such as PMP or Scrum would be beneficial, although training can be provided.
