In your role as a Business Process Assistant, you will be part of the Planning & Coordination Section providing administrative and operational support to on-site inspectors located throughout the euro area. You will work closely with the Division’s management assistant and travel assistant.

Your role

As a Business Process Assistant in the Operations & Integration Division you will:

  • coordinate the administrative processes of on-site inspectors under ESCB/IO contracts and cost-free secondment arrangements, including preparing and processing the relevant documentation and ensuring that all information is complete, accurate and compliant with deadlines;
  • coordinate the onboarding and offboarding of on-site inspectors, including arrangements for IT equipment, user accounts, security credentials and access to relevant ECB systems and premises;
  • act as a point of contact for on-site inspectors throughout their assignment, respond to administrative queries and direct them to the appropriate contact persons if required;

  • monitor central and functional mailboxes, coordinate workflows and facilitate the effective flow of information both within the Division and with internal and external stakeholders;
  • contribute to the work of the on‑site travel office by carrying out travel bookings or raising expense claims for on‑site inspectors without access to the ECB’s travel management tool;
  • identify opportunities to simplify, standardise or improve administrative processes.

The position offers you excellent opportunities to support the operational processes of European banking supervision, while working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You signal any need for change by explaining it and proposing alternative solutions. Your strong capacity for analytical thinking enables you to work with incomplete information and you deliver in line with stakeholder needs.

You are motivated to be part of a team and to develop and use your skills and competencies to achieve the aims of this position.
