Job Title: Sales Support Manager – Order Management Solutions (OMS)

Job Location: Europe – Hamburg, Germany (preferred)

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Sales Support Manager to join our Order Management Solutions (OMS) team in Europe. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to build experience in logistics sales and business development. You will support our regional sales activities, contribute to exciting projects, and get hands‑on exposure to customer acquisition, tender processes, and strategy implementation. It is a unique opportunity to work in an international environment while learning directly from experienced Business Development Managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Sales team with pipeline management: data entry and updates in Sales360
  • Assist in customer acquisition by researching target companies, preparing contact lists, and supporting first outreach activities
  • Contribute to RFI/RFQ and tender responses by collecting input across teams (Solution Design, IT, Operations), formatting documents, and preparing standard materials
  • Support create and update internal marketing materials and presentations for customer meetings
  • Conduct market and competitor research (e.g., trade data, industry trends) to identify new opportunities
  • Coordinate and maintain standard OMS sales collateral in alignment with the global OMS team
  • Collaborate closely with Business Development Managers across Europe to ensure consistency in customer engagement
  • Assist in preparing case studies and success stories that showcase DHL’s OMS value proposition
  • Support the implementation of regional OMS strategy by coordinating activities and tracking progress with stakeholders
  • Get involved in cross‑functional projects (e.g., marketing, IT, operations) that help bring new customer solutions to life
  • Leverage digital tools and new technologies (e.g., AI‑based applications, LinkedIn‑Sales Navigator) to improve efficiency, research, and content creation
Skills / Requirements
  • First practical experience in sales, business development, or marketing – ideally in logistics, supply chain, or a related field (internships or 1–3 years work experience)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident user of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); experience with CRM tools (Sales360 or LinkedIn Sales Navigator) is a plus
  • Proactive mindset with strong communication skills in English (German or other European languages are an advantage)
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the regional team
  • Curiosity to contribute with new ideas and creative solutions
  • Strong interest in international logistics and business development, with willingness to learn about OMS solutions
