In this role you will identify, validate, and qualify new business opportunities, engage early adopters, and transform market potential into sustainable commercial success, shaping go-to-market strategies and building an early-stage pipeline.

Qualifikationen

• Master's Degree or Engineering Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in BD, Sales, or Market Development in electrical distribution.
• Proven track record of creating new business opportunities and revenue from early-stage activities.
• Entrepreneurial, adaptable, resilient in evolving markets.
• Fluent in German and English with a global mindset.

Aufgaben

• Identify, develop, and qualify new business opportunities with prospective customers.
• Validate market needs, use cases, and segments for strong PMF and growth.
• Define, test, and optimize value propositions, pricing, and positioning.
• Build and manage an early-stage commercial pipeline from first contact to deal closure.
• Contribute to scalable go-to-market strategies and onboarding of pioneering customers.

As a Business Development Manager (m/f/d) Innovation you will report to the Marketing & Business Development Director based in Blieskastel for a Permanent contract.

In this pioneering role, you will identify and validate new business opportunities, engage early adopters, and transform market potential into sustainable commercial success. Acting at the intersection of innovation, sales, and market development, you will help define how new technologies are introduced and adopted within the electrical distribution industry.

Your mission

• Identify, develop, and qualify new business opportunities by engaging prospective customers and early adopters.
• Validate market needs, use cases, and customer segments to ensure strong product-market fit and prioritize growth opportunities.
• Define, test, and continuously optimize value propositions, pricing models, and market positioning.
• Build and manage an early-stage commercial pipeline, driving opportunities from first contact to successful deal closure.
• Contribute to the development of scalable go-to-market strategies and support the successful onboarding of pioneering customers.

Your Profile

• Master's Degree or Engineering Degree, ideally in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Market Development, preferably within the electrical distribution industry.
• Proven track record of building new business opportunities and generating revenue from early-stage commercial activities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong adaptability, resilience, and the ability to succeed in uncertain and evolving market environments.
• Fluent in German and English with an international mindset and willingness to work in a global environment.
