A leading space intelligence company is looking for a Business Development Manager to manage and grow governmental and commercial accounts. This role involves driving sales execution and building long-term relationships. Ideal candidates will have 3-6 years of B2B or data-driven sales experience, strong communication and organisational skills, and a proficiency in CRM tools like HubSpot. The position offers a hybrid work setup and is based in Germany, with occasional travel expected.
At constellr, we’re harnessing the power of space to solve one of Earth’s greatest challenges: climate resilience & security in a changing world. Our thermal satellite constellation delivers the most accurate land surface temperature data on the market, equipping commercial players, governments, defence agencies, and global institutions with the thermal intelligence they need to make strategic decisions—from national security and infrastructure to agriculture and climate resilience.
As a fast‑scaling company with offices in Brussels, Freiburg, Munich, Washington and Toulouse, our multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and strategists is building the future of space‑based Earth observation.
Location: This position is offered on a remote basis in Germany, ideally. We have offices in Munich, Berlin, and Freiburg; therefore, a commutable distance to these offices would be great to meet up with the Commercial Sales & Leadership Teams. We will, however, consider Europe (with travel) for exceptional candidates—alongside relocation support if possible to Munich or Berlin.
We are seeking a proactive, entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to help convert our fast‑growing global interest into long‑term relationships and contracts. You will drive daily sales execution, manage our pipeline, and ensure structured follow‑up across government and commercial accounts. This is a hands‑on role for someone eager to learn, build, and grow within a dynamic team shaping the future of European space intelligence.
Required :
Employment is subject to security regulations. Applicants must be citizens of a NATO member state to meet clearance and access control requirements.
Europe-based, with Germany (Munich or Berlin) strongly preferred for close collaboration and travel convenience. Hybrid / Remote setup with regular in-person meetings and ~25% travel expected.
Work on the frontlines of dual‑use innovation, bridging defence, resilience, and climate intelligence.
Opportunity to shape the structure and processes of a growing commercial organisation.
Competitive compensation with VSOP (Virtual Share Option Plan).
Flexible hybrid work and travel across Europe for events and customer engagements.
Join a fast‑growing international team redefining how Earth is observed from space.
At constellr, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming workplace. We are an equal‑opportunity employer and believe that diversity fuels innovation, creativity, and the ability to tackle complex challenges effectively. We encourage individuals from all walks of life to join us on our mission to reduce global food insecurity.
