Job summary

Freudenberg Group is seeking a dedicated Business Development Manager for Anti-Friction Coatings (f/m/d) in Germany. You will leverage your technical sales experience and strong knowledge of coatings and surface technology to identify market opportunities and grow business with customers across industrial applications.

Travel about four days per week and operate with a strong drive to deliver results. Fluent German and English are required, and a degree in a related field or technical training

Qualifications

• Degree or technical training in relevant engineering or science field.
• Proven professional experience in technical sales and business development.
• Strong technical understanding of coatings, surface technology, tribology or related industrial applications.
• Ability to identify market opportunities and develop new business.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and convincingly present technical solutions.
• Analytical, solution-oriented, self-driven with strong execution capability.
• Valid Class B driver's license; willingness to travel regularly (≈4 days/week).
• Business-fluent German and English language skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or comparable; alternatively, a technical training.
• Proven professional experience in technical Sales and Business Development.
• Strong technical understanding of coatings, surface technology, tribology, fastening technology, or comparable industrial applications.
• Strong sense for identifying market opportunities and developing new business potential.
• Ability to build relationships with (new) customers and confidently convince them of the benefits of our technical solutions.
• Analytical thinking, solution-oriented and self-driven approach, and a strong ability to execute and deliver results.
• Valid Class B driver's license, willingness to travel regularly (approx. four days per week), and business-fluent German and English language skills.
