RTL Group is seeking a Business Development & Strategy professional to join its Corporate Centers in Köln. You will conduct strategic analyses, build financial models and develop compelling business cases for cross-country initiatives.

With a Master’s in business or economics and 2–4 years in a related role, you will monitor strategic initiatives, support M&A opportunities and prepare materials for the Executive Committee, using strong English and MS Office skills.

Competenze

• Master's degree in business administration or economics with outstanding academic track record.
• 2-4 years of BD & Strategy experience in an international context.
• Experience or affinity for media, streaming, technology and digital business models.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership and ability to create added value.
• Excellent knowledge of English (CEFR C2); German is a plus.

Job Description

Qualifications

• University degree (Master or equivalent) in business administration or economics with an outstanding academic track record.
• Minimum 2-4 years of professional experience in Business Development & Strategy, in an international context in a top tier consultancy firm, investment bank, private equityor an international corporation in the TMTsector.
• Previous experience or a strong affinity for media, streaming, technology and digital business models.
• Dynamic person with entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take ownership (eg. keen and able to create added value not only for Business Development & Strategy but also for the overall business).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with solid project management and execution-oriented skills (eg. well-organized in managing tasks, project documentation)
• Ability to structure complex strategic questions.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships at different levels in an organization.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Powerpoint, Excel).
• Perfect command of spoken and written English (CEFR level C2). Other languages, such as German, are a plus.
