Amazon Munich/Berlin-based Business Analyst on the Payment Acceptance & Experience Marketing team will own analytics for our emerging business efforts, building analyses to identify actionable insights from application data and digital marketing channels across Amazon and beyond.

You will develop dashboards, surface KPIs, and partner with BI teams to acquire data for robust analysis; translate data into concrete recommendations for the Marketing team and the business, and collaborate with data

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
• Experience in business or financial analysis.
• Experience with Excel and data visualization tools such as Tableau; SQL knowledge preferred.

As a Business Analyst on the Payment Acceptance & Experience Marketing team you will own analytics for our emerging business efforts.

Your primary focus will be leveraging your passion for digging into data, structuring problems, and building analyses to identify actionable insights from application data and digital marketing channels, both on Amazon and off. You enjoy being creative in your use of data-driven tools and methodologies to understand marketing levers and are eager to initiate new ideas, approaches and actions to move the business forward.

Responsibilities:

• You will own reporting and insights to identify and evaluate opportunities to drive funnel conversion.
• Develop and streamline necessary dashboards and one-off analyses, providing ability to surface business-critical KPIs, monitor the health of marketing channels and effectively communicate performance.
• Partner with stakeholders and Business Intelligence teams to acquire necessary data for robust analysis.
• Convert data into insights including implications and recommendations that are specific and actionable for the Marketing team and across the business.
• Partner with other analysts as well as data engineering and technology teams to support building a best-in-class marketing platform and data infrastructure.
• Work with stakeholders to identify key metrics used to evaluate marketing performance.
• Identify, implement, and analyze a/b tests and campaigns.
• Use customer centric data analysis, data visualization, segmentation and a/b testing to optimize across channels and within campaigns.
• Stay current on best practice in Marketing Analytics methodologies and trends.
• Communicate insights using data visualization and presentations to stakeholders.

About the team

This role sits within the Payments Acceptance and Experience EU Acquisition & Engagement team, which drives customer acquisition and lifecycle growth for payment products across Europe. As a Business Analyst, you'll be a critical function in this team. You will also be part of an exciting transformation, defining how we integrate AI capabilities into our everyday operations and customer experiences. We work closely with Product, Analytics, Creative, Legal, and regional teams to create seamless, high-impact customer experiences. Our team is customer-obsessed, data-driven, and moves fast-and we're looking for someone who has this mindset.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience in business or financial analysis
• Experience in Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
• Knowledge of SQL

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field
• Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
