Job Description

Zühlke Group is seeking a Blockchain Integration Architect to design mission-critical integration solutions that bridge institutional-grade blockchain infrastructure with established financial IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect Blockchain-to-Bank Integrations: Design robust, compliant integration architectures between blockchain networks and financial systems.
• Deliver Digital Asset Use Cases: Enable clients to launch stablecoin settlement systems, tokenised money market funds, on-chain asset custody platforms, or wallet-based client onboarding.
• Work with Financial Stakeholders: Translate complex technical concepts into clear roadmaps for IT, compliance, risk, and operations stakeholders at financial institutions.
• Ensure Regulatory Readiness: Design architectures that support DORA, MiCAR, AML/KYC, and financial reporting requirements for digital asset operations.
• Lead by Example: Mentor cross-functional delivery teams and partner engineers, and drive architecture decisions aligned with client goals and risk appetite.

Requirements

• Deep Experience in Financial IT: Worked with or architected solutions for banks, asset managers, or fintechs.
• Core Integration Expertise: Skilled in designing API-led architectures, messaging patterns, and secure system interfaces.
• Blockchain Fluency: Understand wallet and smart contract integration patterns.
• Security & Risk Awareness: Design with data privacy, transaction integrity, and operational resilience in mind.
• Cross-functional Communication: Engage confidently with CTOs, legal, risk, and development teams.
