Alignerr seeks Biology Specialists (Masters or PhDs) to help train and evaluate AI models in genetics, biotechnology, and bioinformatics. This is a fully remote, hourly contract role welcoming experts with deep biology knowledge and scientific rigor.

You will develop, review, and critique complex biology problems, craft clear problem statements, and assess AI-generated content for accuracy. Flexible schedule and asynchronous collaboration with AI researchers.

Formación

• Master's or PhD in Biology or related field.
• Strong expertise in genetics, biotechnology, or bioinformatics.
• Fluent in English.
• Comfortable coding in Python or R for research or data analysis.

What You'll Do

Who You Are

• Master's or PhD in Biology or a closely related field (Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, etc.)
• Strong expertise in at least one of: genetics, biotechnology, or bioinformatics
• Comfortable coding in Python or R for research or data analysis purposes
• Exceptional written communication skills with a sharp eye for scientific accuracy and detail
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
• Fluent in English

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, content evaluation, or quality assurance workflows
• Familiarity with AI tools or model evaluation platforms
• Background spanning multiple biology sub-disciplines
• Experience translating complex scientific concepts into clear, structured written explanations
