• Serve as the primary contact for financial assistance payers to resolve claims issues and manage open workflows.
• Collaborate with client business offices to obtain documentation for claim approvals.
• Ensure accurate payment posting, including processing virtual debit cards and checks.
• Resolve payment discrepancies and ensure proper claim routing.
• Support external partners on complex patient cases requiring advanced billing knowledge.
• Review and update assigned tasks, status, ownership, and notes across AssistPoint and client systems.
• Follow up on claims submitted to patient assistance programs and monitor claims aging reports.
• Enroll patients in assistance programs and submit claims based on identified opportunities.
• Facilitate secure communication with clients and internal team members to resolve claim-related activities.
• Respond to inbound client questions about claims management.
• Discuss claim queue health and progress with leadership.
