Job Description

Moravia is currently looking for individuals with native speaker fluency in one of the following languages: Swedish, Danish, Japanese, or Canadian French. Candidates must be proficient in written and spoken English, eligible to work in Germany, and have experience in QA, Localization, Linguistics or Translation. The role is an onsite position in Munich, Germany, with a fixed-term contract and hourly rate.

Responsibilities:

• Perform complex testing of localized products according to instructions, using tools provided in compliance with the quality assurance specifications.
• Verify that text and images convey the same message as the source language (EN-US).
• Provide proofreading, review and editing of translation services of the highest quality.

Requirements:

• Eligible to work in Germany.
• Native speaker fluency in Swedish, Danish, Japanese, or Canadian French.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Familiar with Mac, Apple products, services or features.
• Ability to type in native language with local keyboard.
• Translation, editing and proofreading experience (preferred).
• Background in QA (preferred).
• Some experience in journalism, copy editing, marketing, editorial or similar (preferred).
• German language is not required for this position, as communication is all done in English.
