Zusammenfassung

GoodWe Europe is seeking a senior L2 technical owner to lead delivery and commissioning of large-scale Utility BESS projects across Europe. You will act as the technical bridge between European teams and HQ, oversee O&M support, and ensure on-time, high-quality execution aligned with customer requirements.

You will own complex technical issues, drive root-cause analysis, coordinate with EPCs, utilities, and service partners, and build standardized practices, trainings, and knowledge transfer

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 GWh hands-on experience in technical delivery, commissioning, troubleshooting, and O&M of large-scale Utility BESS projects.
• Proven experience on Utility-scale BESS projects in Europe or mature markets.
• Strong PCS (Power Conversion System) expertise preferred.
• Deep understanding of BESS architecture and interactions among PCS, BMS, EMS/SCADA, grid connection, MV equipment, transformers, protection systems, and plant controls.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical issues from identification to root cause and closure.
• Experience coordinating with OEMs, EPCs, system integrators, utilities, and customers.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Aufgaben

• Take technical ownership of issues during project delivery and commissioning.
• Lead technical resolution of complex problems and coordinate with internal teams, customers, EPCs, and stakeholders.
• Ensure commissioning and technical delivery are on time and meet customer requirements.
• Provide on-site commissioning and troubleshooting support as needed.
• Lead O&M escalations and drive preventive actions and improvements.
• Coordinate with HQ for L2/L3 escalation and knowledge transfer to Europe teams.

• Act as the senior L2 technical owner for large-scale Utility BESS projects across Europe.
• Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, covering delivery, commissioning, troubleshooting, and O&M.
• Lead the resolution of complex technical issues and provide practical solutions to project and service teams.

2. Project Delivery & Commissioning

• Take technical ownership of key issues during project delivery and commissioning.
• Lead the technical resolution of complex problems and coordinate with internal teams, customers, EPCs, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure commissioning and technical delivery are completed on time, with high quality, and aligned with customer requirements.
• Support critical on-site commissioning and troubleshooting when required.

3. O&M Technical Support

• Take the lead on major technical issues and escalations during the O&M phase.
• Drive root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and final technical closure.
• Coordinate with product, engineering, R&D, quality, and HQ teams for complex or recurring issues.
• Identify recurring problems and drive preventive actions and technical improvements.

4. Europe–HQ L3 Technical Interface

• Act as the technical bridge between European teams and HQ L3 engineering.
• Clearly define and escalation complex technical issues to HQ, ensuring effective communication and fast resolution.
• Transfer HQ technical knowledge, solutions, and best practices to European delivery and O&M teams.
• Improve the efficiency of the L2/L3 technical escalation process.

5. Technical Standardization & Knowledge Management

• Establish and standardize technical delivery, commissioning, troubleshooting, and O&M practices across Europe.
• Build and maintain a technical knowledge base based on project experience and lessons learned.
• Develop technical guidelines, troubleshooting procedures, checklists, and best practices.
• Provide technical training and coaching to European project delivery and O&M teams.

6. Service Partner Capability Development

• Develop and train external service and commissioning partners.
• Define technical requirements and qualification standards for service partners.
• Ensure service partners have technical capabilities and service quality consistent with the company's own engineering standards.
• Continuously assess partner capability and drive improvement where gaps are identified.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 GWh of hands-on experience in technical delivery, commissioning, troubleshooting, and O&M of large-scale Utility BESS projects.
• Proven experience working on Utility-scale BESS projects in Europe or other mature BESS markets.
• Strong technical expertise in PCS (Power Conversion System); candidates with deep PCS product expertise are strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of BESS system architecture and the interaction between PCS, BMS, EMS/SCADA, grid connection, MV equipment, transformers, protection systems, and plant-level controls.
• Proven experience leading complex technical issues from problem identification through root-cause analysis and final closure.
• Experience working across project delivery, commissioning, and O&M environments.
• Experience coordinating with OEMs, EPCs, system integrators, utilities, grid operators, customers, and external service providers is highly desirable.
• Strong project ownership and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
