Citi is offering a 3-month Internship in Investment Banking in Frankfurt for 2027. You will be integrated into project teams, advise on transactions, and draft impactful pitch materials.

Top performers may be hired into the Full Time Analyst programme in the following year. During the internship you will collect and analyse company information, build financial models, prepare presentations, and coordinate with teams while following internal controls and compliance guidelines.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required.
• Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or similar.
• Excellent university grades and some working experience through an internship or working student position in Banking, Consulting, Audit or Transaction Advisory.
• Team oriented mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Available to start in 2027 for a 3-month internship.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyse company information to assist transactions, including industry research and organizing financial data.
• Analyse financial data and develop models including company valuations, DCF, financing and comparatives.
• Create and finalize new business development presentations.
• Coordinate tasks with internal and external teams.
• Prepare internal documentation such as control and compliance regulations.
• Utilize AI-powered tools to support research, financial analysis, and presentations.

Citi is looking for Placement Analyst to join the Investment Banking team in Frankfurt in 2027. The Investment Banking Team provides strategic advise to corporate and financial sponsor clients in Germany on private and public M&A and capital markets transactions including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, financial restructurings, underwriting; and distributing equity; debt; and derivative securities.

We're looking for Placement Analyst to join the Investment Banking team in Frankfurt in 2027 with any possible start date. During your 3-month internship you will be fully integrated into the day-to-day business of our project teams, advising clients on transactions and drafting impactful pitch materials. You will be supporting the Investment Banking team by conducting research and analysing industry trends, preparing client presentations, building financial models, and conducting company valuations. Top performing Placement Analysts may be hired to join the Investment Banking Full Time Analyst programme in the following year.

Your time here will look something like this...

• Collect and analyse company information to assist transactions; including conducting industry research; revising; and organizing financial data
• Analyse financial data and develop financial models including company valuations; discounted cash flow analysis; financing; and comparative analyses
• Create and finalize new business development presentations
• Coordinate tasks with internal and external working teams
• Prepare required internal documentation e.g. control and compliance regulations
• Use AI-powered tools appropriately to support research, financial analysis, and presentations
