Multiple Romanian and international clients are already using our AI solutions to optimize their energy flows, reduce costs for end consumers, minimize waste, and lower carbon emissions.

What will you be doing?

• Take part in the discussions and decisions regarding the platform architecture.
• Develop and maintain the backend of the Ogre.ai platform, including the APIs required for integrating it with client systems.
• Ensures that proposed technical solutions are aligned with the product strategy and can be delivered on time, taking into account both technical and resource limitations.
• Work closely with the Data Science and Front‑End engineering teams to integrate components and features, proposing efficient solutions for the interaction between server, client systems, and user interface.
• Analyze, propose, and implement optimization solutions to improve response times and overall platform performance, minimizing processing time and resource consumption.
• Provides guidance and mentorship to the technical team, supporting the growth of their technical and soft skills.
• Responsible for proposing and implementing security mechanisms to protect user data and prevent unauthorized access.
• Optimize database structure and performance to ensure maximum efficiency when handling large data volumes.

What should you bring?

• Coding experience in Python, Powershell, and Bash, for both Windows and Linux environments
• Knowledge and experience with continuous integration tools, Terraform
• Experience with relational and/or non-relational database systems (MS SQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc);
• Understanding of cloud platforms and experience with at least one of AWS, Azure, Google.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
• Nice to have: knowledge of the FastAPI framework, Celery
• Nice to have: previous experience in roles involving complex technical decision-making and designing scalable and secure architectures.
