As a Backend Engineer, you’ll be at the core of their mission, translating ideas into tools that actually move the needle.
Responsibilities
- Building a real-time analytics dashboard that visualizes how narratives spread across digital platforms.
- Developing an automated moderation system that keeps online discussions safe, factual, and inclusive.
- Lead the development and maintenance of scalable backend services and automation APIs in Python (incl. multithreading).
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks for Android and Web using Python, ADB, Appium and Selenium.
- Build and operate robust scraping infrastructure including proxy management.
- Design and maintain data pipelines and event-driven architectures (RabbitMQ & Celery – nice to have).
- Manage automation flows across Android devices and ensure continuous test execution.
- Integrate LLM APIs into backend testing and automation workflows.
- Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments (GCP, Docker).
- Continuously monitor and improve performance, reliability, security, and scalability of automated systems.

Qualifications
- BSc. or MSc. in Computer Science or comparable degree.
- At least one year of hands‑on coding experience with Python.
- At least 2‑3 years experience in backend engineering.
- Proficiency working with Docker or other containerization technologies.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Android is a plus.
- Experience in Event‑Driven Architectures i.e. with RabbitMQ is a plus.
