Zusammenfassung

Luxoft is hiring a Python Backend Engineer to join a long-term automotive AI project, transforming an in-vehicle voice assistant into an intelligent AI-powered companion.

The role focuses on building FastAPI microservices, Kafka-based data flows, and Azure OpenAI integration. You’ll work with LangChain/LangGraph for orchestration, write tests, and deploy via Docker/Kubernetes, with a hybrid 1–2 days in Munich/Ingolstadt office schedule.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of professional Python development.
• Experience building REST APIs with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph or LiteLLM.
• Hands-on Apache Kafka knowledge (producers/consumers).

Aufgaben

• Build and maintain FastAPI microservices for LLM calls and workflows.
• Develop Kafka producers and consumers for real-time voice sessions.
• Integrate Azure OpenAI using LiteLLM with prompt versioning and routing.
• Work with LangChain / LangGraph for LLM orchestration.
• Write unit, integration, and contract tests with pytest and Pact.
• Containerise and deploy services with Docker and Kubernetes/AKS.
• Contribute to Helm and Terraform configurations.
• Monitor production services using Azure Monitor / App Insights.

LUXOFT is a global IT services provider. We’re looking for a Python Backend Engineer to join a long-term automotive AI project, helping transform an in-vehicle voice assistant into an intelligent, AI-powered companion.

Hybrid: 1–2 days per week from the office, but the schedule is flexible and can be less depending on the team/project setup.

Contract: 2 year contract with Luxoft with the possibility of extension

Locations: Munich and Ingolstadt

What you’ll work on

• Build and maintain FastAPI microservices for LLM calls, tool use and agentic workflows
• Develop Kafka producers & consumers for real-time voice sessions, telemetry and AI events
• Integrate Azure OpenAI using LiteLLM, including prompt versioning and A/B routing
• Work with LangChain / LangGraph for LLM orchestration
• Write unit, integration and contract tests using pytest & Pact
• Containerise and deploy services with Docker & Kubernetes / AKS
• Contribute to Helm & Terraform configurations
• Monitor and troubleshoot production services using Azure Monitor / Application Insights

What we’re looking for
