Responsibilities

• As part of your bachelor’s thesis, you will investigate the occurrence of small movements (< 1 mm) on an axis within the usage profile.
• The goal of your thesis is the systematic analysis and verification of micro movements based on available data as well as suitable experimental investigations.
• Your tasks will include: applying a predefined logic to detect movements in the usage data; quantifying the occurrence of micro movements, including statistical evaluation; reviewing the underlying questions and hypotheses based on the data; analyzing whether the occurrence of micro movements across the fleet is normally distributed; investigating possible parallel movements and affected axes; analyzing whether micro movements occur only in specific components; investigating correlations with environmental factors; identifying relations with parallel movements as well as other factors; designing and conducting experiments to verify hypotheses; evaluating data collected during experiments.
