Zusammenfassung

BMW Group Munich invites motivated students to contribute to AI-assisted software development for idea management. You will explore AI-based development approaches, design prototypes, and help integrate data sources and reporting functionalities.

You will work on evaluating AI-driven approaches in an industrial setting, documenting results and presenting them with supervision from university partners. Duration is 6 months, full-time, with mobile work options and student housing in Munich.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing a degree in computer science, business informatics, data science, or a comparable field.
• Interest in artificial intelligence, Generative AI, and modern software engineering methodologies.
• Strong analytical thinking and a structured working method.

Aufgaben

• Support the analysis of existing processes and systems within idea management.
• Assist in designing an AI-based software development approach for a new IT solution.
• Support the use of Generative AI and AI coding assistants to develop components.
• Contribute to developing a prototype web-based and/or database-driven idea management system.
• Help integrate data sources, interfaces, and reporting functionalities.
• Assist in evaluating opportunities and limitations of AI-assisted software development in an industrial environment.
• Document, scientifically assess, and present project results.

As part of this bachelor's thesis, we support you in exploring and developing modern AI-assisted software engineering methods to create an innovative IT tool for idea management.
