Zusammenfassung

BMW Group Munich invites talented students to join our AI Solutions for Financial Services as an intern. You will help develop, test and evaluate AI models with exposure to agentic AI and MLOps pipelines, collaborating with data scientists and ML engineers.

You will contribute to architectural discussions, document design decisions, and work with global stakeholders to gather requirements and share results. Fluency in English is expected; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Studies in AI, data science, CS, engineering, physics or math.
• Hands-on project experience from coursework, research or internships.
• Solid Python skills and ML tooling exposure.

Aufgaben

• Support the development, experimentation and evaluation of AI models for Financial Services.
• Contribute to architectural documentation and design discussions.
• Gain hands-on experience in a dynamic team of AI experts including data scientists and ML engineers.
• Assist in using and maintaining MLOps pipelines and BMW AI platforms.
• Prototype and pilot AI models to streamline processes and share results with stakeholders.

Our AI Solutions team for Financial Services at the BMW Group explores and pilots innovative AI use cases globally. Together with our IT counterpart team, we drive transformation and innovation across Financial Services through cutting-edge AI technology.

What awaits you?

• You will support the development, experimentation, and evaluation of AI models for Financial Services with exposure to Agentic AI.
• Furthermore, you help with architectural documentation and design discussions, contributing to building blocks that shape the AI landscape.
• In addition, you gain hands‑on experience in a dynamic team of AI Experts including Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers.
• Moreover, you will assist in using and maintaining MLOps pipelines, tools, and BMW Group AI platforms to build reliable prototypes.
• You also contribute to prototyping and piloting AI models that enhance and streamline Financial Services processes.
• You will help collaborate with global stakeholders including IT, market experts, and business teams to gather requirements and share results.
• Furthermore, you stay curious about AI technology trends and share insights with the team to help adopt new approaches.

What should you bring along?

• Studies in AI, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related field.
• Hands‑on project experience from coursework, research, hackathons or prior internships; experience deploying projects is a plus.
• Solid Python programming skills and familiarity with machine learning libraries; exposure to tools like MLflow is a plus.
• Interest in GenAI and multi‑agent AI architectures; exposure to frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud concepts like AWS and Azure and MLOps fundamentals is a plus.
• Experience with n8n or similar workflow automation tools is considered an advantage.
• Business‑level fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
