Zusammenfassung

Andersen is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to support and enhance business-critical Azure infrastructure, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable cloud operations across production environments. The focus spans maintaining Azure services, Windows workloads, and CI/CD processes.

You will collaborate with platform and development teams, implement automation via PowerShell, review Azure DevOps PRs, and improve operational stability.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years administering Windows Server environments.
• Strong knowledge of core Azure services including VMs, Storage, Key Vault, Function Apps, App Services, and Networking.
• Good understanding of Azure networking fundamentals (VNets, Subnets, NSGs, DNS, Load Balancers, Private Endpoints).
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Git-based workflows.
• PowerShell scripting skills for automation.
• Experience troubleshooting production environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring/alerting tools (Azure Monitor, Datadog).
• English level – Intermediate+.

The customer is an international technology company developing cloud‑based software solutions that help organizations manage information, improve collaboration, and streamline internal processes. Its platform supports secure document handling, workflow coordination, and operational efficiency across distributed teams. Serving clients from a variety of industries, the company focuses on scalability, usability, and continuous enhancement of digital workplace experiences.

The project is focused on supporting and enhancing business‑critical infrastructure hosted in Microsoft Azure. It includes maintaining cloud environments, troubleshooting production issues, improving operational stability, and ensuring the reliable performance of Azure services and Windows‑based workloads.

Responsibilities

• Providing operational support for production Azure environments and cloud‑hosted applications.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Azure Virtual Machines, Windows Server workloads, storage, networking, and platform services.

Must-haves

• Strong hands‑on experience administering Windows Server environments for 3+ years.
• Solid knowledge of core Microsoft Azure services, including Virtual Machines (VMs), Storage Accounts, Key Vault, Function Apps, App Services, and Networking components.
• Good understanding of Azure networking fundamentals, including VNets, Subnets, NSGs, DNS, Load Balancers, and Private Endpoints.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Git‑based workflows.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and operational tasks.
• Experience troubleshooting production environments and handling break/fix activities.
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools, including Azure Monitor and Datadog.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Nice to haves

• Experience with Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Knowledge of container troubleshooting and basic cluster operations.
• Experience with Better Stack or similar observability platforms.
• Experience working in regulated or enterprise cloud environments.
