Job summary

Siemens Finance Assurance (FIN A) is seeking professionals to join our AI governance and assurance team. You will participate in identifying risks around Siemens’ AI activities across internal processes and products, helping to evolve AI governance and execute comprehensive audit programs that address these risks.

You will explore responsible AI usage, leverage data analytics to lift audit insights, and present findings to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in AI, data science, statistics, economics or related fields.
• 1–3 years of professional experience within Siemens or a technology/consulting firm.
• Passion for responsible AI development and practical deployment.
• Cloud AI deployments experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% and adapt to hybrid work.

Responsibilities

• Identify risks related to Siemens AI activities across processes and products (technical, operational, contractual, regulatory).
• Support evolution of AI governance at Siemens.
• Execute audit programs addressing identified risks.
• Explore responsible and effective use of AI in audit and data analytics.
• Present conclusions and recommendations to auditees and stakeholders.
• Contribute to shaping the future of AI audit.

What part will you play?

• Participate in identifying key risks related to Siemens’s AI activities – in internal processes as well as in our products, covering technical, operational, contractual and regulatory aspects.
• Support the continuous evolution of AI governance at Siemens.
• Execute user stories as part of our comprehensive audit programs and controls to address the identified risks.
• Explore responsible and effective use of AI in audit and lifting the potential from automation and data analytics.
• Participate in meetings with auditees and key stakeholders to present the team’s conclusions and recommended improvements.
• Actively contribute to shaping the future of audit in the age of AI.
• Build your network in various Siemens businesses and functions.
• Conduct your tasks in audit engagements using FIN A’s Agile Audit Framework.

What You Need To Make Real What Matters.

• First steps taken in career development including 1-3 years of professional experience within Siemens, or a technology company, or a respected assurance and consulting firm.
• Academic degree (Bachelor or Master) in AI, data science, statistics, economics or related fields.
• A passion for getting AI right, i.e. facilitating innovation and speed responsibly.
• Expertise and hands-on experience with at least one of the following areas:
  • Developing AI solutions in different configurations (training ML models, utilizing foundation models, monitoring them in production), ideally in industrial settings, critical infrastructure or financial services.
  • Testing or certifying AI systems, devising AI governance, formulating technical standards for AI in industrial settings.
• Experience with AI deployments in the cloud.
• Solid understanding of IT risk management (e.g., IAM, DR/BC) and assurance principles.
• Certifications like ISACA AI Audit or IAPP AI Governance Professional are a plus.
• Strong desire and drive to develop into a business or functional role after 3-5 years in audit.
• Excellent communication skills to summarize and describe technical audit results for senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English, flexibility to travel (up to 30%, incl. international travel) and embracing our hybrid working model is essential.
